The Western EIM Body of State Regulators (BOSR) and Western Resource Adequacy Program (WRAP) Committee of State Representatives (COSR) held a joint meeting with the California ISO and Western Power Pool on Friday, August 25th at 9:00 a.m. PT / 10:00 a.m. MT to discuss the Extended Day-Ahead Market (EDAM) and its interoperability with the WRAP. Last month, the California ISO released the revised draft tariff language for the EDAM and received comments from stakeholders across the region; the Western Power Pool and other WRAP participants submitted comments highlighting potential issues with the language. Since receiving these comments, the California ISO has held a tariff review session with stakeholders to address the comments and has provided updated revised tariff language on their website here.
During this session, the California ISO and WPP shared their perspectives on the issues raised with COSR and BOSR members and discuss and clarify any potential concerns that remain.
