Net Metering:

Net metering available to customer renewable generators that provide net excess generation (NEG). NEG kwh in one month may be credited against a kwh in the next month. IOU customers may qualify for systems up to 200% of annual load. Municipal utilities with more than 5000 customers and all coops required to offer net metering for residential generators up to 10 kw and commercial or industrial generators up to 25 kw.
