Net Metering:

Net metering available to commercial, industrial, and residential customers. Applicable to IOUs. Capacity limits are the lessor of 1 MW or the customer’s annual requirements for electricity. For systems up to 25 kW, net excess generation credited 75% of the retail rate. For systems 25 kW to 1 MW, credited at retail rate. Credits that exceed monthly bill can be carried over to following month indefinitely.
