The Northwest Power Pool (NWPP), Western Interstate Energy Board (WIEB), and Western Interconnection Regional Advisory Body (WIRAB) invite you to participate in a three-part NWPP Regional Resource Adequacy Program Governance Workshop series. Scheduled webinars will take place at 11:00 – 12:30 PM Mountain Time / 10:00 – 11:30 AM Pacific Time and include the following:
1. Friday, June 25 | The NWPP Resource Adequacy (RA) Program, Governance, and State Authority Considerations
Representatives of the NWPP and WIEB will provide an overview of the NWPP RA Program, outline the proposed governance structure, and discuss why state engagement is critical to this regional RA effort. |
2. Friday, July 16 | Defining State Authority in a NWPP RA Program – Workshop
Workshop organizers will facilitate a discussion about state authority in a NWPP RA program and work with webinar attendees to identify important elements, ideas, and concerns to be considered and/or addressed in developing a state authority straw proposal. This workshop will inform the development of a NWPP RA Program state authority straw proposal that will be circulated to webinar attendees in anticipation of Webinar #3. |
3. Friday, August 6 | NWPP RA Program: State Authority Proposal – Workshop
Workshop organizers will work with webinar attendees to determine next steps, including to revise and refine the NWPP RA Program state authority straw proposal. |
