The Oregon Public Utility Commission integrates storage into utility integrated resource planning, and HB 2021 (2021) directs utilities to include storage in clean energy plans. In 2025, Governor Tina Kotek set a statewide goal of deploying 8 gigawatts of storage by 2045 in Executive Order 25-29.
