Net Metering:

In 2017, the UT PSC and Rocky Mountain Power entered a settlement regarding net metering for existing and future customers. A cap was imposed on net generation capacity for existing customers as of Nov. 15, 2017. A transition program allowed new net metering customers under Electric Service Schedule 135 until Dec. 31, 2032. Schedule 136 imposed a cumulative capacity cap of 170 MW of residential and small non-residential customers, plus generation plus 70 MW for large non-residential customers.
