EV Policies:

The Canadian federal government has set mandatory sales targets for zero-emission vehicles, targeting 100% by 2035.  

The Canadian federal Incentives for Zero-Emission Vehicles (iZEV) program, which provides rebates up to $5,000, was paused in January 2025 due to fully committed funds. As of April 2024, the program had been extended indefinitely with additional funding.
