EV Policies:

Idaho has not adopted a statewide ZEV target, mandate, or rebate program. The state imposes an annual registration fee of $140 on EVs and $75 on plug in hybrids to offset lost motor fuel tax revenue (Idaho Code 49-457). Under Idaho Code 61-119, sellers of electricity for vehicle charging are not under Idaho PUC jurisdiction.
