Net Metering:

Net metering is available to commercial, industrial, and residential customers of the state’s IOUs. System limits up to 50 kW-DC. Net excess generation credited to customer’s next monthly bill. Credits can be carried over for 12 months. Montana distribution co-op net metering policies are voluntary and vary by co-op.
