EV Policies:

UT offers a tax credit for qualified heavy-duty Alternative Fuel Vehicles (AFV). Qualifying fuels include: natural gas, electricity and hydrogen. The tax credit size started at $15,000 in 2021 and declines annually to $1,500 in 2030. The Electric Vehicle Supply Equipment (EVSE) rebate provides rebates for up to 50% of the installation cost of Level 2 and direct current fast EVSE.
