Announcing the WIEB Geothermal Workshop
WIEB is pleased to host a Geothermal Workshop January 20–21, 2027 at the University of Arizona in Tucson.
The workshop will bring together state energy, regulatory, and land use officials, utilities, the geothermal industry, and subject matter experts to compare approaches to geothermal development across the West. Sessions will cover geothermal resource data, regulation, permitting, geothermal offtake, and financing.
This workshop is funded through the WIEB Reserve Expenditure Plan.
Registration will open in November. Please note that registration will be limited, and priority will be given to state and provincial members.
