WIEB State Outreach: Removing Barriers to Solar PV Deployment

With funding provided by the U.S. Department of Energy, the Western Interstate Energy Board (WIEB), the National Renewable Energy Laboratory, and the Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory conducted research on removing interconnection, reliability, and utility rate design barriers to distributed solar photovoltaic deployment in the Western Interconnection. This work has culminated in several corresponding research reports. WIEB and its National laboratory partners are now conducting state outreach to share the results of this work with electric utility policymakers and regulators in the West. Please contact Holly Taylor (htaylor@westernenergyboard.org) if you have any questions.
