This summer, the Western Interstate Energy Board (WIEB) hosted two Shultz Energy fellows from Stanford University to explore the technical, economic and policy barriers to implementing dynamic line ratings in the West. The Shultz Energy fellows carried out expert interviews with stakeholders in the transmission industry, including regulators, academics, and consultants.
