Western Interconnection Regional Advisory Body (WIRAB) conducted its monthly teleconference to discuss current initiatives and activities of WIRAB. The purpose of the monthly meetings is for WIRAB Staff to provide WIRAB Representatives with progress reports on key initiatives and activities, to educate WIRAB Representatives on key reliability topics, and to seek input on the development of WIRAB advice to FERC, NERC, WECC, and the Reliability Coordinators.
Items discussed included:
- WIRAB’s Advice on oversight of the CAISO RC;
- WIRAB’s Advice to Peak Reliability on the transition to future RCs;
- WIRAB’s Advice on WECC’s Information Sharing Policy; and more
