Western Interconnection Regional Advisory Body (WIRAB) is conducting its monthly teleconference to discuss current initiatives and activities of WIRAB. The purpose of the monthly meetings is for WIRAB Staff to provide WIRAB Representatives with progress reports on key initiatives and activities, to educate WIRAB Representatives on key reliability topics, and to seek input on the development of WIRAB advice to FERC, NERC, WECC, and Western Reliability Coordinators.
Items to be discussed at this month’s meeting include:
- WIRAB’s input on WECC’s Dispute Resolution Process;
- WIRAB’s role in providing input into Western RCs;
- WECC’s development of a Regional Variance on RC Monitoring and Analysis;
- WIRAB’s advice on WECC’s Draft 2019-2021 Operating Plan; and more
