Clean Energy Targets:

Investor-owned utilities and electricity service suppliers must reduce greenhouse gas emissions associated with electricity sold in Oregon from baseline emissions levels (HB 2021, 2021):

• 80% by 2030
• 90% by 2035
• 100% by 2040

HB 2021 also prohibits new fossil fueled power generation facilities, requires labor standards, and creates a community renewable energy grant program.
